Community Events at Indigo Dental of Daytona Beach
Getting involved in the neighborhood around us is an important part of Indigo Dental of Daytona Beach‘s mission, which is why we regularly partner with local organizations and good causes to create even more smiles throughout Daytona Beach, FL. Sophie’s Circle Dog Rescue
Indigo Dental of Daytona Beach and Sophie’s Circle Dog Rescue teamed up to help pups in need. During December, our practice collected donations to support this wonderful cause. The main adoption event was held on Dec 15th at our office, where we collected over $700 in monetary donations along with items the rescue needed. We also had a “happy tail,” as one of the dogs found their new fur-ever home! We’re proud to have helped Sophie’s Circle Dog Rescue and all the beautiful fur babies in their care, and we want to thank our fantastic patients, team, and everyone who donated to make this event so special.
Give Kids A Smile
Through the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids A Smile program, launched nationally by the American Dental Association in 2003, more than 5 million underserved children have received free oral health services. These free services are provided by approximately 10,000 dentists annually, along with 30,000 other dental team members, and we were honored to be part of it this year.
A lot of credit goes to our dental assistant students from Daytona State College, and a big shout-out goes to Give Kids A Smile for making this event possible. It’s community outreach like this that reflects the same family dentistry values we bring to every patient who visits our office.
OneBlood at Indigo Dental of Daytona Beach
OneBlood is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community asset responsible for providing safe, available, and affordable blood to more than 200 hospital partners and their patients throughout most of Florida and parts of Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. They distribute nearly one million blood products annually, employ more than 2,000 people, operate more than 80 donor centers, and deploy more than 200 of their signature Big Red Buses throughout the service area for blood drives.
Indigo Dental of Daytona Beach hosted a blood drive to help our community in need and had a great turnout. Thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event!
